- 01.08 09 - The TriPorTech GmbH works with the development of an opto-chemical sensor for carbon dioxide aquaculture and oceanography (OptoCO2Fish).
OptoCO2Fish objective of the project is to develop a life based opto-chemical sensor, carbon dioxide (pCO2) for continuous monitoring of pCO2 in aqueous solutions in the areas of aquaculture and oceanography. The measuring system is a sensitive chemical layer pCO2 (Sensitive Layer) and consist of a miniaturized opto-electronic evaluation unit. To be suitable for applications that must provide the measurement system, a continuous measurement of pCO2 levels over a period of at least six months without recalibration.
The consortium is in the context of this project, the sensitive layer to develop opto-electronics and electronics, as well as the processes necessary for producing it. The overall system will be tested in the relevant fields of application. In addition, will be implemented under the project studies to optimize the conditions in fish farms.
